Questo percorso di lava è il cammino del tempo, lento si sovrappone come l'alba al suo tramonto.
Le radici affondano dove tutto è fuoco e quell'apparente nero si colora nelle nuances del giallo, dell'arancio e dello zolfo o nei grigi della pietra pomice e dell'ossidiana.
La materia si fonde con la forma: stuoie naturali e ricami etnici.
Lino e canapa ad enormi trame lavorate a telaio.
Materie sfibrate, sdrucite, corrose dal tempo, legate insieme dal concetto del non-fínito.
Gonne scultura tagliate "al vivo" e grafismi in caucciù per materici bustier nei colori ardesia e bambù.
Tutto ed il contrario di tutto: giacche "rivoltate", "tagli" a diventare decorazioni e "cuciture" come ricami.
Stampa etnica su morbide pelli cucite come preziosi ricami e su sete crude in rigoroso bianco e nero.
Tessuti come corteccia, stole in cocco ed antichi gioielli nomadi a richiamare atmosfere tribali; l'alba ed il tramonto del Nilo nei colori corallo ed acquamarina ed ancora la "rosa del deserto" nei ricami in spago e tulle siciliano.

This lava course is as the passing of time, it slowly superimposes itself as dawn to sunset.
The roots sink where all around there’s fire and the apparent black changes to coloured nuances of yellow, orange, sulphur or different shades of greys of the pumice-stone and the obsidian.
Matter fuses with the form: natural mats and ethnic embroidery.
Wide textured loom woven linen and hemp.
Torn fabrics, worn out by time but bound together by the idea of the "unfinished".
Sculptured skirts cut out "on the person", caoutchoue designs for bustier materials, slate and bamboo coloured.
Everything and its contrary: "inside out" jackets, decorative patterns and embroidery like seams.
Ethnic prints on soft skins sewn like precious embroidery and on coarse black and white silks.
Bark-like fabrics, coconut stoles and antique nomad jewellery recalling the tribal atmosphere; the coral and aquamarine colours of the dawn and sunset on the Nile together with "the desert rose" ore present in the string embroidery and Sicilian tulle.
