The Castle doors open…

The Castle of memory, travels, that inspired the “Gattopardo”. In a sunny atmosphere, set in the white stone and the pointed arches, we have the 19^th century “atmosphere” of the Collection.

The white colour, absolute protagonist in the loom embroideries that seem to have been taken from the drapery and upholstery of that place.

Allusions to mezzo punto embroidery evoking old insular traditions; tattoo-embroidery with a baroque effect in a romantic mood but very modern; inlaid embroidery light on layers of tulle, that lightly fall on wide soft areas; then, in the Ballroom Hall, an explosion of mirrors and golden stucco-works, bringing to mind old splendour in embroidered filet with oxidised copper elements; all this to tell a dream, an emotion, a page of our history.
